As products of the Newark public housing system, founding members of Stop Shootin', Inc. have a strong vested commitment to the well-being of it's residents.  Each having experienced his own personal nightmare as a result of gun violence, they are driven to effect positive change in their community, the nation and the world.

Since it's inception Stop Shootin' have successfully developed a program that provides safe, positive and enjoyable activities for innercity youth.  Equally important is the emphasis placed on ending senseless violence and destructive social behaviors.
